Limpopo Tobacco Processors (Pty) Ltd
through its subsidiaries contracts every one of the nearly 100 South African commercial and small-scale farmers to produce just more than 7 million kilograms of FCV (cigarette) tobacco in three provinces. The processing factory is based in Rustenburg where the tobacco leaves are processed. More than 90% of the total crop is sold to BAT South Africa and thus used for domestic consumption in the legal trade of cigarettes.
